“Hi! Today, we’re going to learn how to take a photograph using your iPhone.
We’ll be covering other types of phones in separate videos.
Taking photos with an iPhone is easier than you might think and is a great way to capture memories to share with your family and friends.
First, let’s wake up the iPhone.
Press and hold the ‘Home’ button, or if you have one of the newer models, just tap the screen or press the side button.
Now, let’s find the Camera app on your home screen. Look for an icon that looks like a camera. Tap on the camera icon to open the app.
Hold your phone steady and point it towards someone, or something, that you want to take a photo of. The image you can see on the iPhone screen is exactly what your camera is seeing.
OK. Now, let’s focus.
Sometimes, parts of the picture can look a bit blurry. If your subject is blurry, gently tap on the subject on your screen. When you tap the screen, a yellow box will appear around the area you touched. That tells the iPhone that’s the part of the image you want to be very clear and in focus.
Once you’re happy with what you see, it’s time to take the picture. To do that, press the big white button on the screen.
Congratulations! You’ve just taken a photo with your iPhone.
The photo is automatically saved to your camera roll in the Photos app, where you can go back and view it any time you like.
Taking photos is a great way to capture memories and share special moments with you friends and family.
